C19th Japanese bronze stick stand / umbrella stand

Good C19th Japanese bronze stick stand / umbrella stand of hexagonal form with a good quality detailed casting of the Meiji period; the angled rimmed top with an engraved band of Greek key design above the twelve panel body divided by a central collar with foliate design.  All the panels depicting a different scene of birds in flight and perched in trees with foliage and mountains; terminating on a moulded shallow plinth.  Good rich colour and patination.
