C19th French flame mahogany commode / chest of drawers

Good C19th French flame mahogany commode chest of drawers of small proportions and in excellent figured mahogany which has a great colour; the original marble top being dark grey with unusual white flecks having canted front corners.  The four drawers in exceptionall well figured bookmatched mahogany, having original brass bail handles and oval escucheons with tied ribbon decoration; the drawers being fully oak lined with original working lock; flanked by canted corners also very well figured.  Raised on a plinth base echoing the canted corners having a bookmatched front with a cavetto moulding.
