Late C19th walnut hall seat in the Italian style; the back incorporating three fielded panels with swept arms terminating in bold carved lions heads, on vase shaped supports.  The lift up black leather seat with brass studs enclosing a large storage compartment; the shaped base with fluted decoration and carved acanthus leaf corners, raised on exaggerated lion paw feet.  Lovely warm colour
