A good Regency rosewood dishtop canterbury; the four sections of slatted design with a dish shaped top, the central division with a pierced, shaped carrying handle, the corners with turned supports terminating in turned finials. The frieze drawer being mahogany lined and with original small, turned, knob handles. Raised on slender tapering legs with original brass cup castors. The reverse of the canterbury in well figured rosewood so can be free standing. Good rich colour and patina.
