A good George IV Irish pollard oak tripod occasional table; a bold little table with a strong presence; the striking pollard oak circular top veneered in a bookmatched quartered design with a finely and eccentrically carved moulded edge consisting of masks, flowerheads and foliage joined by fine rope twist swags. Raised on an oak barley twist column above a lozenge moulded collar raised on shapely cabriole legs carved with acanthus leaves and scrollwork; terminating in lion paw feet.
