A splendid Regency matched pair of maple etageres; the rectangular top of the three graduating tiers with ebony stringing and ornate brass carrying handles to either side, raised on twin end supports inlaid with ebony banding and ebonised mouldings, with a central circular panel incorporating ebonised roundels; raised on umbrella shaped legs with brass cup castors stamped Cope & Collinson. This very smart pair of tables, would look fabulous as end tables. Although they are not an exact pair, they are identical in design and dimensions, but one is more of a birds eye maple, and the other more of a tiger maple. Obviously came from a very good workshop at the same time.
