An impressive George II walnut and parcel gilt wall mirror, the swan neck pediment with scrolled egg and dart carving terminating in carved flower heads centred with trailing leaves; the rectangular mirror plate within a carved slip and a moulded frame with upper projecting corners featuring rococo c-scrolls and the sides with trailing acorn and oak leaf foliate carving. The shaped apron below, centred with a shell and foliage.
Excellent condition Note: The walnut is a good faded colour and rich patination, the carved giltwood has been re-gilded with water gilt and although the mirror is George II there has been restorations over the years.
