C19th pair of candlesticks

A C19th pair of candlesticks of ecclesiastical design, stamped "Jones and Willis" on the candle sconce, with a large circular drip tray beneath, supported on a black japanned column with a central brass collar raised on a stylish 'stepped cone' shaped base; in the manner of Christopher Dresser.

Jones & Willis, Porchester St, Birmingham 19, makers of ecclesiastical furnishings church furniture and Medieval metal work manufacturers.  They were originally Newton, Jones & Willis and took over the Birmingham Guild in the early C20th
