Fine 19th century Italian carved figure of dandy gentleman; stood in his finery in an exagerated pose with his right arm raised, partaking in snuff, and his left arm on his hip. Raised on a figured plinth. With finely carved detail and of exceptional colour and patination.
Probably a character from ComÈdie-Italienne theatre.
