Dimensions:
Good C19th oak library steps of unusual spiral design; the three angular shaped treads inset with good quality red leather enhanced by faded areas and a good patination having tooled edges of a foliate design. The square supports all with chamfered edges and united by similar stretchers. The left side of the steps having the very useful feature of a turned oak supporting hand pole terminating with a carved acorn finial. Strong and sturdy and suitable for regular use.
