Good Regency pair of mahogany hall chairs of unusual design; the waisted shaped back headed with a carved anthemium with roundels below and a rope twist moulded edge terminating with small carved roundels to the sides. The shaped seats with protruding front corners with the apron echoing the shape; raised on tapering legs of a spiral rope twist design and traditional sabre legs to the rear.
Good colour and patination.
