A good late Regency burr ash, elm and oak centre table; the circular tilting top with striking well figured burr ash veneers in a segmented radiating design with a wide cross banded border; above an inset frieze with a gadrooned moulded edge; raised on a burr elm turned tapering column with a bold carved oak collar of lotus leaves and egg and dart moulding; on a burr elm triform base with large, well carved, hairy, oak lion paw feet; retaining original concealed brass castors. An impressive table and unusually consisting of three native timbers to UK.
