Early C20th chinese black and gilt lacquered low table. The top inlaid with coloured soap stone and bone, depicting figures and a horse in a landscape.
The soapstone figures are raised (in relief). The legs have an ingenious folding mechanism for means of transport, but very stable when set up. Generally in good condition, there is small chips on the lacquer, which we can get restored if you wish and polished up.
It is a smart and unusal table but unfortunately the pictures do not do it justice.
18" high x 22" deep x 42" wide
Chinese circa 1910
