Good Regency set of mahogany library steps, of good proportions; the angled front supports of slight tapering form housing the three treads with turned supports to the rear united by plain stretchers with a moulded edge. The right hand side of the steps having the very useful feature of a turned mahogany support rail terminating in a ball finial. Strong and sturdy and suitable for regular use. Good colour and patination.
