Good quality George IV substantial pair of mahogany hall chairs; with well carved Hippocampus armorials; the waisted shaped back with carved acanthus scroll work centred by a raised shield having a finely carved Hippocampus/sea horse crest with husks below. The unusual balloon shaped seat with moulded seat frame raised on bold turned octagonal tapering legs with sabre legs to the rear.
