Handsome late Regency pair of mahogany pedestal cabinets in exceptional well figured mahogany; originally used in a dining room; the rectangular tops on a stepped and shaped moulding above the figured mahogany frieze, the well figured panelled doors being opposing (left and right handed) flanked by moulded edge pillasters raised on rectangular plinths. One cabinet having the unusual feature of a small drop down cupboard door to the left hand side; the other cabinet with a central shelf. These are a genuine pair of pedestal cabinets in their original form, not reconstructed from a sideboard like many pairs.
