A striking Italian, copper and marble, low centre table / coffee table; B Battioli, Varese 1932; the circular Portio marble top raised on the unusual copper trianglar shaped base with concave sides with repousse decoration with exaggerated scrolled corners and scrolled feet. Originally silver plated as there are traces of silver in the decoration giving it a very attractive look. The base stamped 'B Battioli, Varese 1932'
