Interesting early C20th set of four “Irish “ pastel horse paintings
By W Wasdell Trickett, All titled signed and dated, The bay throughbreds "Glenbevin" and "Kildare" standing alert in their loose boxes depicting feeding mangers and their horse rugs, "Rathkeale" presumably his bay hunter standing tacked up in a parkland setting. "Blackmidgham" being unusual to have a portrait of a heavy working horse - obviously well loved. All in original slender oak frames and under glass.
Dated 1931 and 1932. With the horses having Irish names presumably Walter Wasdell trickett traveled to Ireland to do the portraits
