An exceptional Georgian mahogany serving table/side table in the manner of Thomas Chippendale fabulous colour and patination of good scale having great presence; the rectangular solid mahogany top with a great skin having the unusual feature of a small plate rest groove to the back. The impressive, substantial frieze with blind fret carving of a Chinese Chippendale design; centred with a raised tablet carved with a ring and swag. Raised on square chamfered legs having Gothic carved panels above carved quatrefoils and terminating in block feet with a slender cavetto moulding.
