Good George III Satinwood demilune card table; in the Sheraton manner with an excellent colour; the half round top in well chosen striking satinwood with tulipwood crossbanding and ebony stringing. The foldover top having a similar crossbanded interior with a green baize lined playing surface. The frieze ebony strung with shallow tulipwood banding above a slender moulded edge. Raised on square tapering legs terminating in spade feet. The back legs having a quality and unusual feature of a mortice and tenant joint to secure the legs when closed.
