Splendid George III satinwood card table of unusually small proportions; the rectangular top with canted corners to the front in well figured West Indian satinwood with a broad cross banding of rosewood and ebony and boxwood stringing.  The swivelling top opening to its green baize lined playing surface with a satinwood crossbanded edge.  The frieze with ebony stringing and inlaid anthemions to the canted corners.  Raised on four solid satinwood turned, slender columns raised on a crossbanded platform with ebony inlay to all sides on swept sabre legs headed with fine ebony inlaid anthemions and stringing, terminating in the original brass lion paw castors.
