An exceptional large, late Regency mahogany hall seat / hall bench; powerful scale in original untouched condition; the impressive 's' scroll ends with solid panels having a chunky circular moulding to the seat, the sides with carved mouldings and foliage. The large rectangular seat with a moulded edge and a plain frieze below raised on bold turned, tapering legs with fluted mouldings. Finished on both sides so can be used free standing.
