Good C19th Empire burr elm console table; in the neoclassical manner; the original 'Breccia Aurora' marble rectangular top raised on an angled moulding, above the full length frieze drawer being bookmatched veneered and fully oak lined retaining its original working lock and key. The rectangular front supports with tapering bow front pilasters headed by fine quality gilt brass classical mounts with torch flames. Raised on the inverted breakfront plinth having bookmatched veneers, the back having the original mirror plate. A rare console table being in striking burr elm.
