Good C18th Italian painted and giltwood settee of an unusual neoclassical slatted form retaining its original pale green paint and parcel gilt; the close slatted back with curved ends all with gilt moulded edges with swept moulded arms terminating in carved scrolled knuckles on shaped arm supports with gilt acanthus scroll carving. The upholstered padded seat on the shallow seat frame with gilded, fluted decoration; raised on turned tapering fluted legs headed with square paterae having carved giltwood flower heads.
