A handsome Regency mahogany dressing table / desk; with unusual drawer formation; the well figured rectangular top with a reeded edge, protruding rounded corners and ebony stringing decoration; above an unusual full width single drawer cleverly disguised as three drawers, above a bank of three small drawers to either side. All drawers being fully oak lined and retaining the original gilt brass knob handles and locks. Flanked by reeded pillars headed with finely carved wheatsheafs. The generous sized kneehole with a recessed cupboard door with reeded pilasters; the interior with a central shelf. Raised on reeded turned tapering legs. All in fiddle back and well figured mahogany having a good rich colour and patina.
